An insider announces the imminent announcement of WRC 2023 from EA and Codemasters

According to well-known and trusted leaker billbil-kun, the launch of WRC 2023 is very close and EA and Codemasters are going to officially announce the game soon.

Unfortunately, billbil-kun hasn't revealed any further details including release date and platforms, so we'll have to wait for official confirmation directly from Electronic Arts and Codemasters to find out more.

On the other hand, an insider tweeted icons of some of the trophies/achievements that can be earned in the WRC 2023 game as a bonus.

As you know, Electronic Arts received the rights to use the WRC license from the FIA World Rally Championship, which was previously granted to Nacon.

The first rumors about WRC 2023 appeared last September thanks to a report by Tom Henderson published in Insider Gaming. According to his sources, there will be 16 separate car classes in the game, including WRC, WRC 2, F2 Kitcar and H1 FWD, and players will be able to create their own rally car from top to bottom, including transmission, engine, differential, gearbox, clutch, radiator, suspension , brakes, exhaust and so on.

Whistleblower Says Codemasters' WRC 23 Is Coming Sooner Than We Think

Released in late 2022, WRC Generations is the final installment in a series of licensed rally simulators released under the Nacon banner.

The brand has now been taken over by Codemasters, the team behind the renowned F1, GRID and Dirt Rally series of racing games, in 2023.

According to the well-known and respected dataminer billbil-kun, WRC 2023 from Codemasters will not have to wait long. He posted on Twitter a set of 26 achievement icons from the upcoming game and is confident that the product is ready for release. An official announcement should be expected in the near future.
