I get a great drive with the Logitech G27 steering wheel in Need for Speed World

Maybe some people don’t know, but NFS World is perfectly controlled on a gaming racing wheel, and the result is a cool drive. By this you can also understand that after 14 years the game has a characteristic interest. It even receives updates and new cars, although they are not official and belong to the amateur open source server project "SoapBox Race World".

How to play Need for Speed World on the steering wheel? And it’s very simple, especially if you have a Logitech g27, and you definitely use WEX Launcher (2.3.0). Because I couldn’t use the steering wheel on another launcher.

But if you use the WEX launcher, then in my case everything works right away without any problems or adjustments. The only thing you need to do is set the necessary feedback parameters in the Logitech Gaming Software.

The feedback parameters I have configured for G27 are:
- Degrees of Rotation full 900;
- Overall Effects Strength by nine percent;
- Spring Effects Strength slider no more than 83%;
- Damper Effects Strength is not less than 35;
- Check the box and indicate Centering Spring Strength at only 11 percent.

Pay attention to the screenshots, they show all the details about the settings and connections. No other actions had to be performed!

My impressions of driving in NFS World

The Logitech G27 steering wheel settings in Need for Speed World turned out to be the best for me, very easy to maneuver and without any bumps or feedback dips. I would like to point out that I used a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Katana car, playing on the steering wheel from the view “on the hood”. It handles pretty well in all corners.

I just wanted to try my steering wheel settings in NFS World, but it turned out to be a great drive. Quite exciting, and now I will have fun with racing from time to time. Despite the fact that this is an online game (offline is present!).

It is known that the game supports a number of devices:
- Logitech® G25/G27;
- Thrustmaster® Universal Challenge Racing Wheel.

In addition to my story about connecting the steering wheel for Need for Speed World, I include presets (in three versions) for four different models of accessories. Although they are not needed in my case!
